khan doc is a bit boring, it definatly needs a narrator and some better quality music instead of the piano. you need to have videos of him training when he's hitting his peak, leaving it all in, it all adds to the suspence, showing him doing slow drills isn't doing anything. really all you needed to do was watch a floyd mayweather training highlight on youtube and try to copy it with khan.

also even though judah isn't talking to the media you could have had some clips of his fights and expert views from the likes of the HBO crew and various boxing journalist but obviously not fat dan because he's a muppet.

you could have attempted to get hold of judah vs mayweather to hype the casual fans about the fight. although you would have had to pay top rank/don king for it. all the fights you've got are golden boy so i asume they gave them you for free. if you invested a little bit of dollar to get the judah vs mayweather fight it would make much more of an impression than judah vs matthysse.

continuing, when your showing khan doing interviews, when he is talking about nothing all your really doing is getting people to change channels. you have to keep your viewer interested at all times so all you really have to do is keep it short and sharp, concentrate on when he says something controversial which will make people think.

khan needs to step his media game up too, the guy really has no personality at all. if you want to be a superstar you have to have the ability to talk well.

it all seems as if it was filmed over a 2 day period which is really amateurish, you have got to understand this has to be a success. failure could result in khan leaving and then really you will only make enough money to break even with american cards which sky sports regect and not huge profits which khan could bring.

I've not seen the documentaries yet, so I can't comment.

But in terms of music, I imagine the need to get permission to use good music complicates and increases costs. This goes for old clips of Judah, too. And there's only so much they can do about Khan in interviews. The poor kid isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, so he just repeats everything.

With the limited budget they have, they appear to be doing a good job. But if they could take heed from your feedback, it would be good.

Khan is going back to SKY for his next fight, so Primetime are not going to spend shitloads of money promoting this fight then are they?

Have no idea where you heard that, nothing has been decided regarding Khan's future fights but we are developing a very strong relationship with GBP

I was just presuming as Richard Scahefer had talks with Barry Francis last week. It could have been for the Mayweather-Ortiz fight or trying to resolve the problems with Khan.

the only thing they did right was having the sense to see the fight needed a build up show, but they have done a poor job at it. we all know its new to them but its just not intresting at all. its like they've never seen a countdown show before. granted its difficult to do it for the first time, but all they really had to do was look at HBO's work over the last decade and try to emulate it but from the quality of it seems as if they had no clue at all what to do.

on the music side of things, if it was recently released then not always would they have to pay for it. they would have to get permission for it but for the artist who did the song it often is beneficial for them to get their music heard so for them to pass their stuff over to primtime for this would be good because it would really just be free advertisment.

on to the judah fights that they would have had to pay for it, but if someone watched judah vs mayweather for the first time and they saw the problems he caused mayweather, judah dropping mayweather, and then the brawl it would more than easily cover the cost with the increase in PPV buys because the casual fan would be hyped for it. i think if they got judah vs mayweather with khan vs maidana and showed them on saturday before the fight would do really good numbers. primetime have got to understand investment is the key to them being a success and they have to be willing to do it and not get scared by what happened to the likes of setanta which is really a totally different company to theirs.

i want primetime to do well, but if they ending up doing a poor job with this fight and not getting enough buys then they will only have themselves to blame for not doing a good enough job in advertising the fight.

Considering there is no difference in price, they will obviously always go to SKY over Primetime as Primetime has only a very small percentage of the 11million plus SKY subscribers registered.

He will be back on SKY PPV once he fights on a card which can do an acceptable level of buys, which as the Mccloskey fight buys showed he currently isn't doing.

In all likelyhood he will back on SKY in December either on a UK card, or more likely on a split UK/US event as with Maidana.

Staying on Primetime for money which is not significantly more than they would get on SS , while at the same time being off the Sky Sports marketting and hype machine, is as Froch and others have said - suicide. Froch should know better than anyone having been on Primetime himself.

Agree with all of that. However, with a restricted budget, I can't imagine it all being achieveable.
