Just received the following email via another site.

Just a quick email to forum members & boxing fans..

    PrimeTime: some hints and tips

For those with Sky, please ensure your box is connected to a BT line to enable the box to activate itself tonight when the broadcast goes live around 8pm. No telephone = no fight.

For those who may have encountered problems using the automated telephone service to book the fight (some have experienced trouble entering their Sky card number) please call this 'secret' number where a HUMAN will answer and set up your account: 08702 416 666

If you wish to record the event, then remember to select each segment throughout the evening to record (there are approximately 6 chunks about an hour long each).

For those without Sky, click the banner below to purchase the online stream:

Some people have expected a 'confirmation' email upon purchasing the stream. This is not in place for this event. Your user name and password that you register is needed to log in when the event goes live.

I would recommend that you plug your PC straight into your modem if you can, as your connection is faster than if your using wireless.

    Any issues email

No, this was mentioned before. It might even say you'll be charged £14.95 but you'll only be charged £12.95 if you ordered before.

I have ordered the fight a few days ago.

I just tried to sky+ the Froch fight and it wouldnt let me record it as it prompted me to call the 0800 number to order it etc.

I called the customer number and they walked me through a procedure to check that my telephone line was connected properly.

    Click Services
    Click option 4
    Click option 7 "system test"

This should prompt you to say that your telephone line is connected properly

If so, and if you have ordered the fight, you should be able to sky+ the whole fight now. Do this procedure now to make sure you are sorted. I am glad I did as the telephone cable that I was using was a ****in useless piece of **** and was faulty, it was a good job I went to Argos today to purchase a spare one just in case this **** happened.

It's already on, if you not got it yet, I'd say there's a problem.

I ordered this a few days ago and was told everything has gone through. I am trying to sky+ the fight too but when I try to record, it gives me the details to purchase the fight or enter my pin number to record, is everyone still getting this?

Not if you're watching it on TV. The PPV starts at 10.15pm.
