So if you have a boxing expert saying this, how can you say that Primo was terrible? Even the experts say that Primo would win. So in reality, when Max Baer beat Primo Carnera, it means that he really would have beaten Wlad.

Primo on his best night might have had a chance with the younger 22 years old Wlad who punched himself out against Puritty.
Wlad beat himself that night so maybe Carnera in a similar scenario might have hung on to win that one too, if he was as durable as Ross was, but it really is a hard way to win a fight.

Other than that, no, I don't see it.

Does it really means what Bert Sugar must have said at one time?

He said a lot of strange things.

Is Sugar alive? If he is then he's showing signs of serious dementia.

    Wlad would massacre Carnera.

An old-timer claiming boxing isn't what it used to be! I would never have guessed...

Oh there would be a massacre all right, but Carnera will be doing the massacreing.

You forgot to take your pills by giving Carnera no chance against Wlad

Burt was drunk and disenchanted by the woeful performance he just saw. That was the night when Wlad beat Sultan Ibragimov in a sleeper title defense.

A lot of people on our forum, were slow to pick up on what Wlad was, at this point in time!

In some cases it was people like me, who were the first to say "hang on the numbers are stacking up now!"

I was never particularly impressed with Wladmir Klitschko’s performances. His style was effective but hardly pretty to watch

Neither was I, but the numbers just kept building up, until the conclusion became unavoidable!

I have to agree with this. Klitschko was often tiresome to watch, because he rarely gave his opponent a chance to get into the game. Pretty boring. I actually liked young Klitschko more, when he was on destroyer mode.
