How does the Ambling Alp do in today's division. Undisputed Champ? Belt Holder? Contender? Tomato Can?

The division is bad enough that he could have a version of the title imo ,but the Brothers Grim beat him.

Carnera would rank number 3 perhaps. Right behind the Kilt bros.

I dont see Sam Peter, Haye, or any one else beating Primo.

Don King would get him a belt but take all his money!

That sounds awfully similar to what happened to him in the 30's.

No but only because he wasnt in a position to.

Of course there have always been Don Kings in the sport but they should have been eradicated by now.

Not that's today's division is great, but I don't think he'd do to well. Valuev, terrible as he is, is both bigger and somewhat more skillful IMO.

I think he'd be a journeyman/fringe contender, unless he again had the assistance of corrupt promoting.

Valuev can hardly move in that ring lol.

I think Carnera's jab and movement would carry the day in this fight imo.

Carnera wasn't the poor fighter many historians make him out to be. I think he was good enough to be a top ten guy today, but I would not pick him to defeat Klitschko, Povetin or Chagaev.

Carnera had a shaky chin for a big guy. This divsion might not rank as one of the best decades of all time, but pretty much everyone in the top ten can punch.

He would beat a lot of guys....The Klitschkos would beat him but Primo holds his own the rest are not punchers like Louis,Baer
