    You may be right,but possibly that says more about the lack of quality in the division at the moment ,than it does about the abilities of Primo.
    I asked Larry Gains about Carnera,Gains was a gentleman who never knocked anybody,he didn't answer ,just laughed.He was very high on Dempsey and George Godfrey ,however.

    Dempsey and Godfrey are obviously hard competition to hold up to.

    Gains did fight Carnera before Abe Attel took him under his wing. Attel was Carnera's Manny Stewart. He hade him into a Sharkey beater.

    Carnera was ultimately an overacheiver.

    He trained like the absolute devil, and was a slave to his trainer.

    He won the title through sweat and aplication.
