Wach is a true boxer, with very good amateur pedigree and former Polish champion hits harder and takes a much better punch too. Wach wins.
Wach is nothing special. Came nowhere near winning a title, even in this watered down era of multiple titles. Carnera in far better condition, and outlasts him for a dreadful decision win in a battle of two behemoths.
His technique by far outweighs any attribute primo has over him. How would Primo react to a bigger fighter who is refined? I don't believe speed is an issue here.
A prime Wach wins. Carnera may have a few technical edges but when it comes to actual in-the-trenches fighting ability and performance I have to go with Wach. Carnera wouldn't be able to dent that giant Polish chin, whereas Wach could hit plenty hard and Carnera didn't seem to be that hard to hit.
I think that Carnera would take a pretty comfortable decision. Wach is your typical contender who loses whenever he steps up, and I doubt that this is the exception.
Canera UD. I would say Wach would be in the top ten for a while in Primo and Joe Louis day, and he's a top 15-25 type of guy at best in the 2000's
