Prime for prime Carnera was a class above Simon, but Simon would have a fair chance based on his power. In the very narrow time frame where the fight could have actually happened, you bet a green Simon beating up a shot Carnera.
I don’t know. Both were clown shows. Carnera couldn’t crack an egg and couldn’t take a punch. Simon could hit, but he was so uncoordinated and crude he looked like he had some kind of physical handicap.
