I want to say Golota, but he had a habit of being inconsistent. Ill go with the most realistic, Golota gets paid by Carnera's people and takes a dive via DQ. RIP little Carnera.
That may be, we do not know how many of his fights were fixed. But "Little Carnera"? Once thing he was not is little. Even considering how his & other boxers have their heights exaggerated, he was 6' 5 & a 1/2". His reach was listed as 85", & his bone structure & fists were massive. From what I head & read, is listed fighting weights ranged from 260-284, & even at his biggest he was not fat. He had a pituitary problem that caused this, like Abe Simon, & was a circus strongman who before steroids exven existed, & without any modern nutrition or supplements, was very heavily muscled. He was a good man who by all indications was not in on any fixes & had an unfortunate decline & untimely death. Why demean or show contempt for him by using the an irrational & seemingly contemptuous word "little"?
Read my comment again, no disrespect to Primo, im not calling him little. "RIP little carnera" is in reference to how i envision Golota getting DQ'd, via low blows ala Golota-Bowe I & II. Maybe my fault and i should of made that more clear.
OK that is fine man. There is just no way to know that "little" means anything but calling him physically small-or insulting him by showing disain. I understood what you meant re: the DQ & dive, that is another matter.
