At first I was tempted to say Coetzee, easy, but after some thought, I am not so sure. Gerrie could certainly hurt him, and I would see some Baer like knockdowns occurring but for some reason, I also can see Primo maybe hanging in and stopping an exhausted Coetzee later on. Maybe it is just late and I need a nap? Anyway, might be good fight.
Yes, i agree with that...Coetzee's right may not have had the torque that Baer's did, but it was an accurate bomb, more like Schmeling's...any nobody can tell me that he wouldn't have landed it on Carnera and wrecked the giant.
Coetzee knocks Carnera out cold, probably in the middle rounds after bouncing him off the canvas several times like Baer did.
I have seen pretty much all of Carnera's films. He's underrated as an athlete and has a good heart for the game. His skills on offense were fair. Defense was not his forte. Carnera could take a hellacious body shot, yet what appeared to be a grazing blow on the head or chin stunned him or worse. I think Coetzee's right hand would get him, but it's not guaranteed as Coetzee tended to gas late Best guess Coetzee via 6-8th round TKO win.
