Primo Carnera vs Riddick Bowe

At his best Bowe, as i think he i sunderated head to head, but in saying that, Primo was much more consistent and over a longer period of time. I think Primo probably beats the Bowe that showed up fo rthe Golota fight.

 

Bowe in a few rounds ... a terrible mismatch ...

 

Bowe KOs him in 2.

 

I am going to mstick my neck on the lione and say that it might be more competitive than people think.

Carnera was a little better than Bowe on the outside, and prety good with his uppercut on the inside. He could throw Bowe a few curve balls.

I go with Bowe because I think that ultimately this would come down to an inside fight (ironicaly).

 

Bowe's big looping right would serve him well here and he would be too much for Carnera to handle on the inside. Not a good match-up for Primo.

Bowe easy... it might look like Bowe's win over Jorge Gonzalez (KO6)... or even Tim Witherspoon's win over Gonzalez (KO5)... both pretty one-sided beatings.

A very good/great big man vs. an average big man.

 

I think primo would take this hes a lot like golota ,look at what andy did.

 

It's honestly admirable, you make every effort to give the older fighter the upper hand.

 

Like has already been said Carnera was average.

He was a big ponderous man, Bowe is a big skilled man and a real fighter. Carnera doesn't like real fighters.

I don't give him the slightest chance, Bowe by vicious KO anywhere from 2 - 5 rounds.

 

Bowe rapes him, then he knocks him out.

 

I was thinking the same ...

 

He actually had heart.

 

I´m one of the biggest Carnera fans here.....but Bowe was too much for him, too much skills with power.......Carnera was a tough guy, but Bowe by TKO late.......
