Primo Carnera was as legitimate a champion as any there has ever been.

If Primo was legit, which I strongly disagree with, why does no one rate him in the top twenty based on his "outstanding record" and accomplishments. His 66 KO's must be an amazing accomplishment. As a puncher he must be up there with Liston, Foreman and Tyson. If you take out his post Louis career when he must have been washed up, the rest of his career was stellar and he should be arguably in the top ten of many. He is no where near that because every boxing historian of the past eighty years knows his career was a joke.

Name the historians or reputable sources that rate Primo as the great fighter his career record should prove him to be.

I have about 30 historians lists. 2-3 of them them have Carnera in the bottom half of their top 20.

Look at his fight with Louis and Baer and look at how many times he got up...He had a Champions heart and his fights with Lougran,Sharkey were on the level....Primo was no bum
