Well Carnera has always been known for a amazing body though. He was a strong man in the circus before he turn pro in boxing.

probably should have stayed in the circus. He could have taken up walking the high wire, and still likely wouldn't have hit the ground as much.

Nobody ever counted 10 over him.

No, but one guy floored him 11 times in a single match. He was floored numerous times in his career. Kind of a waste of height really, seeing as how he liked spending so much time on the ground.

My thoughts repeated: He should have stayed in the circus.

He might not have performed the same acrobatic feats without repeated blows to the head.

On the other hand he would not have become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world with the circus.

How many of the "modern super heavyweights" are actualy more technicaly proficient than Carnera?

    That depends.

If the mafia had managed to fix the acts so that he became the most renowned circus clown of all time, he might have generated a rather lucrative living.

    Not gay enough.

Surely if we had some photos of Primo in a clown suit, that would fulfill the gay requirements.

    And your point is?
My opinion of the modern heavyweights is pretty low actually.
I meant that had Carnera talent to match his size he would have been tremendous. He was a fair if mechanical boxer ,with courage in abundance ,will that suit you? I can see where this might lead ,and we have covered it before J , I have just got done with Dr Z/ Mendoza ,give me a respite please.Heres a bribe.Primo Carnera
