Primo v Rocky?

Please tell me you`re talking about Balboa! Marciano had far more power than the clumsy ham fisted Carnera and a far better chin, being bigger doesn`t give you a better chin, Louis proved that, the fightes that hit Marciano a lot ha fast clever hands like Walcott and Charles, leave the half a lump out of this elite equation.

 

I think Rocky KO's him faster than Baer.

Primo's big enough to make this interesting. I don't see the Rock looking good here !

 

Carnera isn't as bad as people make out, but he's not on Marciano's level. He may even start out relatively competitively, but I think the longer the fight goes on the worse things get for him until disaster.

 

The 80+ pound weight disadvantage actually would be a problem, along with the fact that Primo was weirdly mobile. Loughran had a similar height/weight gap, and he wasn't a come-forward slugger with T-Rex arms.

Rocky looks crap against Primo for Period s of the fight .It takes him at least 8 round s to get going against the giant .But he does ..and stops primo in around 10

 

That’s a fair and balanced call! Much better than looking at ATG placement and saying Rocky would destroy him, or the size discrepancy and saying cruiser weight Rocky gets destroyed.

I see it similar to you Primo would frustrate Rocky early, but he would keep chiseling away and stop Primo late.

 

Rocky win by 4 round KO. Primos gonna have a very bad night...one sided fight.
