If you think Martin is coming to lose, you're deluding yourself.

AJ's first 14 opponents fully intended on losing, they didn't even try to win.

The first guy that actually came to win almost did.

Martin is a very prideful man, not sure how anyone could get the opposite impression from his interviews. The last thing he intends to do is swallow that pride and lay down for a manufactured hypejob.

Stylistically this will be anything but easy for AJ. It amazes me how few of you seem to realize that even most top fighters struggle with southpaws, AJ is far from a top fighter.

  2. Great stuff, your prediction is similar to mine that I made as soon as the fight got announced.

2 more days until that robotic synthol synthetic musclebound freak gets destroyed.

:good I've been hyping Martin for a few years now, I predicted a win for him over Breazeale and when that fell through I predicted his win over Glazkov. He's the real deal, and I'm not sure what fighter many of the posters on here are seeing, because the one I see is an awkward southpaw, with great defense, who rarely gets hit clean, with impeccable control of range, powerful right jab and a dynamite straight left.

AJ's true level is that guy that struggle with superior fighters in the amateurs, the bums he's been fighting as a pro aren't close to Medzhidov, Savon, Nistor, Cammarelle or Dychko's level all of whom in reality beat AJ.

  4. Exactly people underestimating this guys footwork, ring I.Q and ring generalship.

Martin isn't dumb enough to stand in front of his opponent with big hands like AJ and trade like Whyte did.

If you saw that fight, for a couple of rounds Whyte managed to outbox AJ with the jab before he started gassing and brawling.

Obviously AJ is gonna be different as I keep hearing the excuse from his cheerleaders that he was fighting on pure emotion, but even if that is the case, you shouldn't be getting outboxed by a plodding brawler if you're the real deal.

I see Martin nulifying AJ's assualts by holding(he's done this previously when his opponents tried to get close), keeping the range and jabbing that boy's head off until he is worn down before goin for the kill.

Martin is prepared to walk through fire and some ****ysis today made a good point, that when you are champ you improve mentally and train harder by 20%, so you factor that in along with the natural ability and I only see one outcome.

Martin is seizing upon an opportunity to become filthy rich. There is nothing more to it than that.
6 million pound he's getting paid. Don't mistake his joy at being set up for life to an aura of pure self belief and confidence in winning.

You're making a clown out of yourself. You need quick legs and all round nimble movement to off set joshua's come forward assault. if you stand there upright he will blow you away. martin isn't a swift mover.
is this how you inject some drama into your daily grind?:tired

No he's not, but thankfully for Martin.... AJ is NO Wlad either.:yep

  9. People keep saying this, forgetting the fact that Martin could have easily made just as much fighting mandatories
