We didn't see Scott in the UK in his day but I've seen his win over Birmingham's excellent Bunny Johnson. Bunny was ranked 7 in the World at the time and Scott just forensically dismantled him. Scott even took Bunny's fast lead right full on the chin without blinking. That shot dropped Heavyweights.
That version of Scott would have taken Williams apart in 4.

James Scott is not stopping Williams inside of 4. No way whatsoever.

He wasnt a monster puncher and Prince was very tough.

This fight has decision written all over it

I agree, this fight goes the distance. Charles Williams knew how to fight, terrific jab, could fight inside. James Scott was a tough man, very determined.
If Williams gets pulled inside and into a mauling fight, I think that it would go against him in the end. If he can hold his own inside but keep his distance and use his jab he can win the fight.
I've watched Williams more recently than I have Scott so that may be a bias in my opinion.
