PBF would not have fought a less busier fight b/c 1. MAB did not fight a particularly busy fight against Hamed 2. PBF was much more active at 130.
nah man Floyd was very aggressive at 130....he would definitely be busy in that fight....plus MAB really wasn't all that busy in the fight.
He was aggressive against fighters he HAD to be aggressive against, and he was cautious against fighters he HAD to be cautious with.
Hamed gets his ass whooped in this fight. I remember after Floyd pummeled Corrales he said he wanted to fight Hamed at 128. Merchent immediately cut him off and said that Hamed would never fight him. Hamed, of course, never showed any interest in this fight. Why would he? He was making good money fighting beating up guys with a fraction of Floyd's talent.
Hamed was already very small for featherweight. He only fought at that weight b/c a title opportunity presented itself.
very true but i think pbf is too skilled and fast for naz if naz would of beat MAB the fight would of happened wen NAZ loss PBF almost cried
I read that Hamed tried to take the **** out of Eubank because he had belts at that point and Eubank didn't, and Eubank *****-slapped him. Hamed also tried the same graceless **** with Nigel Benn and ran away before he got his head caved in....Hamed could fight, but he was a stupid ****.
is this true? if this is the same eubank who took benns punches, i find that hard to believe. floyd was like a small rjj back in 130, let his hands fly and had good power back then. naz would be stretching himself at 130 lbs, he was'nt that big of a FW as it was. after the corales fight floyd told merchant he wanted naz, would have been great to see floyd put it on hamed then.
I heard that Naz punched him and that was that. Interesting note though, Naz regularly sparred with cruiserweight titlist Johnny Nelson
