He had Morales and Barrera in his weight class he didnt need to move up in weight(again i say considering he was a small feather) to fight some bigger dude for the same or less money he would get fighting Barrera and Morales

He wanted Mosley so bad back then that he waited till Mosley moved up to WW to move up to lightweight but you being the ***** that you are you think it was Mosley who ducked him like you do with every fighter that Mayweather didnt fought.

If you only applied that principle to all of your posts you could be half a decent poster as it is you're just recycled garbage always repeating the same **** and only interested in one fighter.

I don't knock Hamed for not fighting Mayweather, but there was definitly reason to move up and fight Mayweather as the accolades he would have gotten if he pulled it off would be major. If Hamed could go back I bet you he would take that shot.

Defeating Hamed would have made him more of a PPV attraction which is why he wanted that fight. Its a documented fact that Mayweather challenged Mosley when Mosley was the top LW and Mayweather was the top JR LW. Mosley turned it down to chase Hoya. Mayweather then moved up to WW yrs later to get big fights with Mosley and Hoya. Mosley turned the fight down again in 06 and then lost to Cotto.

The fact that you don't know this stuff says a lot, and you have the nerve to talk ****. I'm interested in a bunch of fighters, yet not to many other fighters get as much false information spit out then Mayweather does.

There was definitely no need for Hamed to move up and fight Mayweather, and it probably would have been a bridge too far. However when you constantly state that you will win titles across 4 or 5 divisions, and your trainer says you will win titles upto middleweight, there's obviously going to be a backlash when you stay your entire championship career at 126.

Hamed could easily have made 122 with a disciplined approach to diet and training, and at 5'3'' and a hands at sides fighting style, success at higher weight classes would have been a big challenge.

I dont think Mayweather was on Hames fight plan, MAB was first then Morales, obviously we know how that played out. Marquez blatantly, straight up ducked Hamed, i did post the link of this on another thread

Hamed was known as a small FW, there was no way he was moving up. So i dont think he ducked Mayweather as such, he just had other plans. During that time HAMED was the big name, he was the Mayweather of his time, he was undefeated flashy and he made the $$$. Marquez was a nobody at the time, he only really became popular after his fights with Pac. Why would Hamed duck a nobody like JMM but fight MAB?

People claiming Hamed ducking Mayweather is like people saying Mayweather ducking Cotto/Pac and moving up just to fight someone like JCC junior. Why would Hamed fight Mayweather when he had 2 huge fights looming with MAB and EM.

Hamed is guilty of ducking Mayweather, just as much as MAB and EM are

Marquez was Hamed's mandatory for about 2 years..They tried low balling him offering him a fight in very short notice to make it seem like he was doing the ducking, but facts are Hamed had been ducking him for the past 2 years...Even Manny Steward confirmed this, as they viewed Marquez as a high risk/low reward fight...Only reason they fought Barrera was because they thought he was done...During the Salud fight, after watching Barrera put on a clinic on him, Steward was getting very concerned about fighting him, since the fight was already signed by then, and Manny was saying he had never seen Barrera look as great as he did that night, and the entire HBO were very suprised at what they saw.

MAB completely changed his fight style and put on a clinic. Hamed never ducked JMM, what had he done at the time to say he was going to beat Hamed? EM/MAB and Hamed were at the top and thats the only fights Hamed wanted.

Anything Steward says, i take with a pinch of salt.

The big money fights for Nas at the time were in his own division against Morales & Barrera, he was never going to jump up to fight Floyd at 130.

It would have been awesome to see Mayweather shatter Hamed's Glass Jaw. Would have been a complete schooling and an embarrassing and brutal KO.

Like i said...High risk.low reward...Marquez had the stye to beat Hamed...Him and his team must had known this or else they wouldn;t have ducked their mandotory of the last 2 years.

    I guess well never know.

Btw, JMM is one of my favourite fighters at the mo :good

Hamed disappointed 2bh, but with his reflexes gone and relying on nothing power to get him through (see previous fights before MAB), im glad Hamed didnt end up like Roy Jones and retired when he did

Just like he brutally shattered the jaw of that other FW he invited to come up to fight him....Marquez or something?
