Maybe you were Naseem, maybe you would have become one of the greats of our time but since you quit after your most challenging fight in your career then all we'll have his what might have been. A lot of fighters have come back from more devastating losses than what you suffered and yet you could not find it deep inside you to redeem yourself. Bloody great? perhaps. But we will never know how "great" you really were.
The guy was a great fighter but will never get his due because people didn't like him damn shame really.
He faced some excellent fighters and faced an ATG in his prime and lost no shame in that. I would say Naz faced better opposition than Calzaghe did at Supermiddle. di Joe face an ATG in his prime??? Naz faced 10 world champs.....8 were Kos. that is impressive considering Kelly, Johnson Medina,Bungu . He also fought in the US a good few times. an excellent fighter....
same as tyson never beat a great frighter or a great fighter in his prime...,too bad too.., D:verysad
Yep. And who knows how he would've faired against MAB if he was still with Ingle and hadnt been consumed entirely by his own hype. What power, what a chin, and what a ****ing personality! He's the best example of the bloke you love, or love to hate.
Naz was awesome. The fact that he never came back from his defeat means he will probably have the biggest wasted career in boxing in my life time.
