Naz would hit him hard and fast from crazy angles. JuanMa would be in his face but that is wrong because Naz can pick his spots. I can't see JuanMa being cute, giving him angles, in and out etc

There was talk of Naz fighting Gatti @ 130 after the Kelley fight. Whilst Naz was the better fighter IMO, Gatti had the right blend of chin, pressure and dig to potentially outwork Naz whilst staying in there. He was of course much naturally bigger as well.

Saying that, Gattis tendency to get hit and mark up badly go against him here. Supposing his power carried up (it undoubtedly wouldve IMO, Naz had freakish oomph) I would say he can be cagey enough that he minimises the damage he takes and sparks Gatti late.

If A. Gatti can keep coming B. Naz gets hit with the frequency he did when fighting Elite-opposition, it's anyones fight. Despite Gatti being overrated due to wars with 'contenders' like Ivan Robinson and Mickey Ward and losing badly whenever he faced an Elite level operator. I would say Naz was a level above Gatti in terms of natural ability.

Shame it never happened, guaranteed fireworks.

Yea Hamed-Gatti was mooted around that time but if I remember rightly Gatti was upset by Angel Manfredy which put a spanner into those plans and Gatti had a few losses on the bounce. Woulda been fight of the year, Gatti had decent balance and could take a punch back then had enough pop to drop the flamboyant brit who was never in balance but the weird angles and chopping shots woulda took their toll on Thunder who in later rounds woulda been chasing shadows perhaps TKO9-10 cuts stoppage maybe.

Naz blasts Juanma, Naz-Gamboa now ur talking- flask-knockdownathon!!

With the Prince's power and the fact Gatti has been stopped numerous times - has to be Hamed by stoppage; mid-late rounds.:deal
