One of my favourite things in boxing is watching the pre Barrera fight documentary showing Naz being his usual cocky self and thinking Barrera would be a easy night.. Its great to watch knowing he got made to look a total gimp in that fight.. The fact he only fought once again does not surprise me at all ..... basically a bully who met his match and quietly ran away with his tail between his legs.
Of course Mitchell has been prepared in the past.....just not to the multi dimensional, mythical levels mentioned by some on here
People need to watch the Barrera fight, yeah he lost but it wasn't a landslide. Naz would have beaten MB had he taken the fight seriously. Fell in love with his power
I'm not sure that this is precisely true but he would certainly have had a much better chance....the bolded part is certainly correct.
How much do we reckon he actually did make? I know at one point he was making the kind of money mayweather would have been proud of
Definatly made more than £30M I remember an interview from around 1998 ish when he was making American name and Lennox Lewis said something on sky sports about the celebrity style big time money Hamed was making for such a young man. Your probabaly right I'd say he made easy £30M just from the HBO contract he had in the USA or about the. 5 fights he did there. I'd say he made about £20M before that in Britain. Plus he was being paid mega bucks by Addidas and for video games he had and other ****. He was ****ing seriously rich. The money mayweather of his day at a time when floyd was earning peanuts in comparison
He never was on HBO PPV, so I dont see why HBO would give him £6 million which is like $9-10 million a fight, usually the highest they bid for a non PPV fight is $3 million.
