He did move away from lateral movement, combination punching and bodypunching he had in his earlier career. I'm not sure if it was lazyness at that stage or just focusing on exchanging to land his very powerful punches. Allot of boxers actually become less complete and focus at 'what they're good at' though Herol Graham effectively invented that 'Ingle style' and was Hamed's hero. He left the gym though and I don't think Ingle was as good a proponent of that style as it's inventer. Herol offered to train Hamed but Naz never took him up on it, which is a shame as that would be the ideal trainer for the style. Steward and Suarez Hamed got in were really bad matches. Steward just doesn't work well with certain boxers The Herol Bomber style does not work with flatfeet and single punches Leave him alone, Naz banged Clinton's mum
I don't know how are you supposed to talking seriously when you say Named was a bum... I think he didn't found the motivation at the final stages of his career and just lost the focus on boxing. He retired with 28! If you don't miss Hamed then YDKSAB!
It's a shame Naz and Ingle couldn't work through things. Naz just got too cocky and too big of a star once he hit America. Hiring a textbook trainer like Steward and Suarez was pretty much the worst thing he could have done (well that and not training :-( ) Probably the hardest hitter below 135 and a joy to watch.
Thank You :happy People seem to laugh when i state that hamed would have had an easier time with Pacqiauo than he did with MAB. There is a reason why MAB turned counterpuncher against Hamed, he knew Hamed hit HARD,. It explains why MAB fought a very disicplined fight with a high, tight guard.
Problem is, Hamed went into the MAB fight and his whole gameplan consisted of one home run punch, MAB knew this and never afforded Hamed the oppurtunity. Hamed fought the entire fight with his hands down. Hamed was just on the cusp of ATGness, however imo, at his best he still beats most of the best ever FWs
This is the Classic, not the General and I feel honored that I'm on your ignore list because you're a crap poster.I've never been "exposed" on these boards, least of all by the likes of you.And no,MAB did not "turn counterpuncher" for the Hamed fight as you so erroneously claimed in an earlier thread(as usual). If you saw him against Salud(before Hamed), he fought the in the same style against Salud as he did against Hamed. But why should the truth get in the way?
