Yeah, that's the one. Doesn't look as clear-cut over whether his glove actually touched as I remember it to be fair :think
Pointless arguing about the semantics of the phrase "all over the place", but I don't think it can be disputed that two legit knockdowns hints at a bit of vulnerability on Hamed's part. Pitt's book on Hamed (which had close access to the Ingle camp) suggests that he was badly hurt against Kelley. Hamed destroyed Sanchez, as that kind of fight tends to favour the guy with the bigger punch and stronger chin. It was completely needless though - a fighter of Hamed's (alleged) ability should have been able to outclass Sanchez without taking that many punches in return.
That Johnson knockdown does look legit. Just rewatched the whole fight and to be fair he wasnt as dominant as i remember. Long time ago.
Eubank followed quickly by NAZ got me into Boxing Naz is the best UK fighter in my lifetime outwith Lewis closely followed by prime Eubank
Great memories.. for a short time in the late 90's he helped make boxing a prime time sport again. He made headlines. the cover of newspapers in the States after that electrifying Kevin Kelley fight. He was a superstar in the UK even before that. Had unreal one shot power. agility, amazing chin.... but he was lazy, that happens with naturally gifted athletes like him. The party lifestyle and refusal to train cought up with him, that and the fact that he hit way, way too hard for his hands to handly. I heard him say once that his hands started degrading very early on in his career. Than 9/11 happened and his whole Arab Prince schtick became a liability in the US and he quietly faded from view.
