I think the Ingle style is what got him to where he is, he was very unorthodox which combined with his power and reflexes gave his opponents nightmares. It was his attitude that hindered him from becoming ATG but sadly he will always be a what if type of boxer similar to Tyson

Im the opposite there TBooze, I thought he started spiraling downhill once he left Ingle. The crazy style was more of his natural style than what Ingle taught him. Theres no way you can train someone that limbo dancing style of defence and it was usually Naz sticking his chin out to wind up his opponents that made them come in and get tagged with the counters. He had a very special talent and a very special style. Greed, hype and Fame were his eventual downfall. A sad day it was too but 13 months later he made a come back and decided just to box against Manuel Calvo and he won every single minute of every round. Strange thing was, people were saying on the build up to the Calvo bout he should just get back to basics and box rather than lookng for that one punch KO or dancing around the ring and when he did exactly that he got booed out of the Arena and in my honest opinion therein lies the main reason he never returned to the ring again, you could see the dissappointment in his face as the fans booed him during his post fight interview and in that very moment Naz was in retirement (imo of course lol)

Hatton is a good comparison. Both Hatton and Hamed had long periods of dominance and a one-sided loss when they fought the utmost elite. Both will likely be remembered by many for this big loss, rather than their good selection of impressive victories. Both, additionally, were very good against certain styles but had glaring flaws that ultimately cost them.

Hamed was the first boxer whose career I followed from when he hit the big-time to when he had his pathetic swan-song. Unlike Chris Eubank or Lennox Lewis, I felt he was one disliked boxer who never endeared himself to the British public. He didn't have the fundamental sweetness to be liked by the traditionalists and when he began to lose his talents the flash-squad turned on him as well.

Terrible driver and a complete **** of a person, too. He should really be behind bars now and for the rest of his life.

Did anyone see Hamed's last fight against Calvo, and what are your thoughts on it?
It's not on youtube and I want to see it. Apparently Hamed got booed at the end.

He was accidentally driving at 110 mph? The first bit of the quote is the only thing that actually matters.

Nothing to do with his ability as a boxer though.

The Calvo fight was a failed excericse.

Hameds promoted the fight as the "FRESH" PRINCE

as if he was coming back better than ever before

however Hamed still tried to come out dancing and grinning and showboating as if the loss to Barrera never happened.

despite Z list celebritys like Richard Blackwood turning out to support Hamed you could be forgiven as if it was still all good in world Hamed - as if he was still the best boxer all the celebritys thought it was cool to know

But his confidence and spark were not there anymore

    the undefeated fighter was gone

    the bubble burst

    the aura gone

Calvo made it a **** fight - cos he just came to survive

but the fact Hamed never fought again after this confirmed his heart was not in it anymore

You never driven a powerful car ? It happens you lose sight of the speed as the car has plenty to give and suddenly you realise you are doing 100mph.

Yes I have. I don't drive wrecklessly though. Thats what he did and its the other poor ****er that has to pay for it forever.
Do you think 'ah its a powerful car and I wasn't paying attention and the next thing I knew it was doing over a ton so it's not my fault really' is a good enough excuse for ****ing someone up for life?

Driving a 1982 Ford Cortina Ghia hardly counts as a powerful car.

Who said the other bloke is ****ed up ? Was he not taken in for questioning with regards to b/s stuff where he tried to **** hameds wife up ? Sound like a dickhead to me if all he can do is try and intimidate women.

Also Hamed had insurance on his car so their is nothing stopping him from taking hameds insurers to court for compensation.

With regards to Hamed he could have created a legacy but the money and ego got in his way and Manny did not know how to train him. The Hatton comparisons are poor as Naz had left Ingle a long time before he got the MAB fight, Hatton was still with Graham and still got his ***** ass slapped.

I think the first bit shows the extent of your intellect. I'd expect something like that from a 10 year old. Someone doesn't agree with you and you resort that kind of stupid ****.

The other bloke broke/fractured every major bone in his body and can never work again. That qualifies as ****ed up in my book. As for the court case involvoing Hamed's wife, the other lad was cleared as it turns out it was Hamed's wife who was stirring **** and talking bollocks.

apparantly the guy was waiting in a lane for Hameds wife

Elseha Hamed - the wife - had her two kids - and they were all in the car together.

This bloke drove out from out of no where at them and Elesha had to swerve the car to avoid a collision and possible bad crash and she could have been injured and Hameds kids.

I understand this man is bitter.

But attacking a woman and her kids is low

:hey To wind you up even more ...come on what is this powerful car you drove then ? Escort XR3i ?

Oh so he can't work ever again but can wait for women drivers so he can try and drive them off the road. The blokes a complete arse, also FYI the bones are not still all broken.
