    2.30 DAMN!

He was something else when firing on all cylinders. Love him or hate him he was a phenomenon and regardless of the Barrera loss he still has a hugely impressive record. I think most people over-exaggerate that loss because he was disliked but Barrera was simply the better fighter on the day and went on to be great in his own right. Take nothing away from the Prince he was one of the best of his era and arguably an ATG for me, I know many will disagree but I dont care.

Shows what you ****ing know. He had another fight after and won it. You make it sound like he quit after 10 fights, he'd been a champion for years. Im not saying everyone agrees its my opinion okay?

Oh right he fought YET ANOTHER nobody after barrera exposed him, Listen, I'm not saying the guy was garbage, but ATG??? Don't you think you would need to AT LEAST ATTEMPT to reverse that defeat?? go over to boxrec and review his resume and see how many of his opponents were actually any good, sure there's like 4 MAYBE 5, but the rest were tomato cans. so was he exciting to watch? of course he was, but No ****ing way he was ATG. At BEST he was a decent fighter, once he got in the ring with someone who actually could fight he was made to look a fool.

Hameds resume COULD have been a lot better. He was amazing to watch. Freakish power and led to the million dollar paydays for the lower weight fighters. But he wasnt as disciplined as he should have been. He could have been a lot more dangerous than he was.

i always thought he was going to rematch Barrera. Still a great fighter. Just could have been greater. Still a big Hamed fan though. His entrances were insane! :yep

Ya know, there was this one hamed vid.... a long time ago.

Started off with him in the amatures, had some amature fights, and followed him up through the pro ranks, towards the end of the highlight it showed mab working out, then their showdown and how mab picked dissected him in the fight.... ive never been able to find it again.

He quit because of his bad hands, his last couple of fights he needed injection before and after the fights because they were in such a bad state, when you take away Prince's power he didn't have much left. He was never a combination puncher, it was always one-two powershots , but the frail hands could not take his power anymore.

You can see before his fight vs. MAB, he needed his hands rewrapped about four times because they needed to be perfect.
