If prime Nas circa 99/00 had moved up and challenged PBF for his super-featherweight title who would have won? And in what fashion?

Floyd by stoppage.. I can't see anyone beating Floyd who's giving up size against him and Mayweather was inherently a better fighter than Naseem was anyway both p4p and head to head... This is a mismatch.

I like Naz in this fight, especially in the 90s. He could get off Flashier combos and had way more upper body movement than Floyd. While Floyd was very skilled back then, Naz had more pure athleticism and was able to land punches at crazy angles. The Prince made people look flat out silly with his in-ring style!

It was be a fascinating matchup around that time, too bad it never happened. By 99/00 Naz was already slowing down enough to where I think it would be a very even fight. By 2002 the Prince career was over after his aura of invincibility was ended by Barrera. It’s amazing to think about this fight now that Floyd managed to get to 49-0. Naz could have handed Floyd a loss way back when. He was a bigger star than Floyd back then and it really would have been a great fight.

Does anyone know if there were any real talks about this fight happening back around 99/00?

I know Floyd called him out a few times around that time but don't know if there was ever any serious discussions.

Mayweather offered to fight Hamed at a 128 catch weight way back when to which Hamed replied, "How many times do you want me to move up?" Hamed wanted nothing to do with Mayweather.

Nah, at 5' 4" with a 64" reach the prince was never going to compete with the much bigger Mayweather. If Mayweather boils down to 126, Hamed sparks him.

Hamed would've been the betting favourite, believe it or not.

Mayweather by late rounds stoppage or decision. Floyd would counter Naz's reckless rushes.

Agreed. I'd go so far as to call this a mismatch

I don't think Floyd ever had a size advantage so big!

He made a certain level of fighter look silly, until he fought an elite then he was made to look silly.
It would have been no different with Floyd.

Given his current weight, how about Price v Wlad???
