I think they stay close and Gamboa takes care of business late.

Gamboa's ability to take punch just isnt proven enough yet...For a guy of his style, you just cant be sure he could take a Hamed punch because he would eventually wear one.

I really do like what I see from him, I see a not to distant future p4p fighter but I really cant say he would beat Naz at this stage.

he lost by 3 points, the way the barrera fight is made out to be calzaghe v lacy like makes me laugh

also notice how he was never on the canvas more than 2 seconds his entire career, and usually because he was off balance

We need to see more of Ciclon, too early at this point to compare to Hamed.

If that's Hamed's full career of getting "Hammered", that's not really enough to warrant proof that he couldn't get past Gamboa. Most of that **** is him off balance or just clowning around. If anything its a display of how charismatic he is and how good a chin he is, not him getting bossed about. Was Naz ever in a close fight actually?

I gotta say Gamboa even though it's a little to early to say. But if I have to pick then I go with Gamboa. Yuri's speed and technical boxing abilities would of done Hamed in.

I don't know what it is about Gamboa. I like his aggression. I like his style. He's got decent power. But I can't shake the feeling that he's one world-class-counter-puncher-with-a-chin away from a drawn-out and sustained embarrassment. Someone who has genuine skills and timing could take him into deep water and drown him; he's way too open.

I could well be wrong, though. Perhaps the fighter required doesn't exist and he'll sweep away all before him. But I can't shake the feeling he's going to meet his match at some point.

Gamboa's a good fighter with some amazing attributes, but Hamed sparks him out EARLY. Very early.
