Taking the Barrera defeat away Naz never really got the credit he was due in my book.. How does he fare against Manny at featherweight who in all fairness was very easy to hit with counters and pot shots... Which I could see Naz having some success with.. But how much

126 is Manny's prime weight and I think he hangs with any of the ATG's there. Manny's speed and volume are going to really trouble Naz. Manny by KO somwhere around the 7th-8th round. Naz loves to have a potshot counter war, where his power can slowly take over and the pace is modest. Manny's handspeed is at least on par and arguably faster than Naz. Kevin Kelly was able to time and tag Naz repeatly, even Augie Sanchex was landing with success on Naz before getting bombed out. 126lb Manny was a flurrying machine with a great gas tank and durable. That in out movement and constant barrages are perfect to fight someone like Naz who is looking to surprise an opponent with that one big bombs that don't see. Naz is going to get stunned and often in this fight. Manny at 126 proved he can fight at a breakneck pace and against the elite of the elite boxer/punchers (Morales/Barrera/Marquez). If Naz is tagged and on the backfoot I don't think he can box his way to victory.

I can't say I agree with everything there Rafaman, but I really respect the detail, depth and validation for your theories.

    All just opinions here.

But really Pacman is the bigger man here, Pac had legit KO power at 135 at 140. He can brawl and take good shots at 126. Naz isn't KOing him.

Manny Pacquiao had a ****ing iron chin at 126.

Really can't see one big shot doing the KO here.

Pacquiao was packing bona fide steel at 126.

Pacquiao was not very easy to hit with potshots and counters. Barrera at 29 and one of the greatest feathers on history got completely destroyed.

    3K battery destroyed.

Marquez an ATG timed him and countered him and still didn't even win.

Marquez is no bum he's an ATG.

To say Pac was easily hit and potshotted because Marquez did it is like saying Ray Leonard is easily outboxed because Hearns did it.

And he'd need an iron chin to stand up to Naz's power.

Not really. Pacquiao's chin at 126 is stronger than Barrera's. And MAB wasn't close to being stunned once by Naz.

Manny was also a lot more open and wild, though.

If JMM can put him down, Naz can starch him.

    Agreed.

The way Pacquioa lunges in leaving himself open would be manna from heaven for a Hamed at the top of his game. He would hit that chin, and turn to his corner offering his gloves saying " take them off, he ain't getting up if they count all night "

Pacquioa at his best NEVER had a brain, he was merely a human buzz saw.

PS. Hamed more than likely hit as hard at 126 as Marquez did at 147. He had freakish power.

Hamed. Pac makes mistakes and is hittable. Hamed KO.
