Admittedly I haven't seen the fight I just got told he struggled. Fair play if he won comfortably Brett Fidoe is a decent yard stick.
I actually like him I saw he had a lot of potential in the couple of amateur fights I've watched. Made some good points in that last IFL interview as well. I'd love to see him fight Andrew Cain soon.
Hasn't this all been done before... Eubank played the pantomime villain off to a tee. Naseem then stretched it as far as it could go. I am all for personalities and gimmicks that can add a few quid to a fighters purse, but make it original.
Is that it? I was expecting another crazy interview. I can understand him being annoyed- I would be especially if his walk on music meant something significant to him. In any case this was backstage- nothing to see here IMHO
You could see Alfie ****** was getting pis sed off. The controversy he brings is more than likely going to be a positive for him though. More and more people will want to watch him. I reckon a lot of people will be surprised at his ability as well.
Honestly don't know how you can take to him? He's a clown.... And what's with that stupid pout thing he does after speaking and licking his lips every 10 seconds? The man is a muppet.
He is so big, he has 600 hits on the interview; clearly he is a huge attraction... I would if I was him and that sure of myself, start to prove it in the ring. As money is not a problem, pay over the odds if necessary to get the opposition in that will build up the resume, and show that 'Prince' Patel is the real deal. If his ability is even one tenth the size of his mouth, that will not take long. And we will a couple of years down the line need to start adding his name with the Wilde's, Lopez's and Villa's of Flyweight folklore.
