I think Inoue is using smoke & Mirrors a bit. Don't be shocked if Donaire pops Inoue Something fishy about Inoue imho. Evarist would've surely put up a better fight, seems Rodriguez turned up for a payday
Refs with spratic behavior in early fights, ear pieces(?). Maybe but man I'm just not seeing the power people are ranting about. Predictable sequences and rabbit punching ftw
Well tbf rodriguez had a stupid gameplan that instead of boxing chose to slug it out with a harder puncher
Rodriguez has a fine toolset of skills. He realized most of Inoue's last few opponents went into the ring scared and fought very tentatively. Inoue is not a brawler and likes to take his time and attack in a calculated manner. Rodriguez, who has never been knocked out, had confidence in his ability to come in and make Inoue's life a bit difficult by being more aggressive and not being scared. He even said previously that he wanted to bring the fight to him because not a lot of fighters has. He did decent in the 1st round, but Inoue was able to tag him couple times and in the 2nd round was looser and was able to time his counter... which lead to the first KD and eventually the TKO. Didn't work out, but I don't think it was stupid. A mix of poor execution and underestimated Inoue's speed and power.

Christ on a bicycle. This forum really is seeing some shocking threads posted today. Mentioning Patel in the same thread title as Inoue should be a bannable offence IMO.
