'I have no beef with Vitali, why should I fight him?'

    What has changed since?
As it stands, the only 'beef' Haye has now is with Chisora?
Why is he blatantly ducking Del Boy and pushing for another undeserved pay-day with a Klitschko?

Don't get me wrong, I want Vitali vs Haye to happen, but David has to take a normal route - get back in the game by beating a credible opponent first and Chisora provides an excellent test to measure his commitment and ability.

I sense that Haye, since his cruiser days and especially after his move into HW has simply grown accustomed to taking lucrative shortcuts to glory. He ain't better than the rest. I say, David, get yourself in the ring with a live fellow contender and prove that you're a boxer and not just a self-salesman, that you've become known for most of all.

even as a CW, the only notable names Haye has fought are Fragomeni, Macarinelli and Mormeck, so it's not surprising to me that he wants to take the short route and get a payday talking **** and wearing gay t-shirts

    Excellent post.
Finally you talk some sense. Never imagined I would hear that from a Brittard.

Haye should fight his way up. At least one fight. Either Chisora or anyone from the Top10.

Other than not wanting to give Chisora, a Euro level fighter at best, another chance at fighting on a platform he [Haye] feels he doesn’t deserve to be at, I can’t see a good reason why Haye would not take this fight if it presented itself. As you say, it’ll restore some credibility, build up a better case for a Vitali fight, and it’ll be a nice payday with the British boxing public – as well as others (Europeans) maybe – rushing to see it take place. The majority of the public will be on his side, too. He’ll become a hero again if he smashes him.

However, the conflicting TV networks will be a major problem. Can Frank’s BoxNation merge with SkySports for this one-off event?

Okay, Okay, what has changed is this...............Vitali has been, to a certain degree or extent, exposed by Dereck Chisora. Vitali knows this. Haye can sense blood. Haye feels he can use a solid jaw, active workrate and adequate power to take Valt ***** into the later rounds and drown him in his own blood.

Footwork. Speed. Affletizm, its all there.

I remember clearly Frank W. was pushing for a fight with Haye at Vitali - Chisora post-fight presser.

Haye would beat Frank. Frank needs to push for another fight, like one he could win, versus, say, Wald *****.

We've heard enough of this self-promotion. Or is Haye's 'affletism' not good enough to take on Chisora for example?

It would be a good valid point if there was other good contenders out there. But there isnt which is why alot of people want this fight to happen. Haye knows this which is why he thinks he can go straight in.

Its the biggest fight that can currently be made in the heavyweight division, simple as that.

Haye won't risk it. Too much of a coward.

He wants his payday against Vitali and that's it.

Haye is an elite-level contender. He exists between the main body of contenders and the klitschkos themselves. He's already been the former WBA Champ and the former WBO/WBC/WBA champ at Cruiser.....so......he exists in the vacuum. If a gap comes up, its his to take. He doesn't need to stay active or "earn" a shot, he's not Marco Huck.

Are you stupid? I mentioned Chisora in the OP, didn't I?

Or is he worse a fighter than Audley? Remember, your lot wen't all in on endorsing and justifying Haye to take that fight. Now all of a sudden, Сhisora isn't a good contender...:patsch

Anything goes to support Haye no matter what he does, right BlinkingEyes?

And how the hell are we supposed to know this, ah?
Need I remind you that his best win at HW was either a pathetic decision over Valuev or a stoppage of an old Ruiz, ffs.
