Prizefighter concept

    Hi all, this is my first post on the boxing side of this message board. Enjoy reading the crack and apologies if the question I am about to post has been covered before.

    Was just wondering if any other countries have shown interest in the prizefighter concept or have already had some shows with the idea.

    Also have matchroom got it patterned and would they have to be paid if other countries wanted to do its own prizefighter

    I'm not sure you can patent the concept, one-night tourneys have been going on for years in boxing. I guess Matchroom would patent the naming rights but thats about it.

    Eurosport airs 'Bigger's Better', which is a Prizefighter clone that takes place in Cyprus. The standard of boxing is poor, but it's entertaining enough at times.
