The press conference was held today for the latest installment of the Prizefighter Series.

    The Line up is

    Terry Dunstan
    Darren Corbett
    Mark Krence
    Dean Francis
    John 'Buster' Keaton
    Neil Simpson
    Bruce Scott
    Micky Steeds

19th May Earls Court - London

You can join Terry's Prizefighter group on Facebook, other than that discuss, argue but most of all enjoy xx :D

Where is Earls court? They should keep this show on the road.

Not a bad line up on first glance. Some guys who have fought at a decent level and good punchers.

For old times sake I want Buster to win or the Butcher.

jesus, francis' comeback looked quite promising for a year or two, now he's sunk to prizefighter level :patsch

That Jonny Vegas fighter who Francis and Miranda had a ding dong with should enter one of these events.

I think enzo mac shouls ask for a stand by place. That's about the level he'll be at in 18 months.

For some strange reason I think Krence has got this one in the bag.

Earls Court - West London on the District & Piccardily tube lines a 10 minute ride from Central London

One of the best Prize Fighter line-ups

Still a fair dig for me to get to. If they have it around the country they can keep the popularity up and I will definetly go see it if it ever comes to Yorkshire.

When you say backing him I hope you don't mean with the bookies, i'd advise anyone wanted to put a bet on to steer clear of putting money on Corbett.

7 shot Cruiserweights and an area level fighter who should be a Light-Heavyweight(Micky Steeds). It's not very promising stuff.

Some of the guys on that list used to be very very good, others were dangerous journeymen. But now I think we're left with a very sorry bunch for what could be the worst prizefighter yet.
The other redeeming feature is quite a few of the guys there have a punch on them so there may be a few knockouts.

I agree. There have been a lot of shows at York Hall, and other Regions should get a chance. Premier League Darts has boomed as a result of this strategy

    Worst yet why?

    Prizefighter isn't about quality boxing.

It's like slug out mode on the old Knockout Kings games.

As long as the guys are fairly evenly matched it makes for a good evening. It's not like the winner gets a world title shot.

Years ago I tipped Chris Okoh as the next big thing. Darren Corbett retired him
