Tye Fields vs. Michael Sprott

Round 1

Fields doubles his right jab. Sprott is walked to the corner and takes a few left uppercuts. Fields landing his jab and pursuing. Sprott takes a few body shots before chasing Fields back with a right hand. Fields is landing his jabs and circling around to the right. Sprott is missing lead rights to the body, crouching and lunging. Fields is very successful with his jab and is defending well with his foot placement and movement above the waist. Sprott lands a big right hand, his best yet but Fields stands up to it.

10-9 Fields

 

Round 2

Sprott comes in wild and hurts Fields with overhead left hooks. Fields is rocked against the ropes but shakes it off. Sprott slows his roll and Fields now jabs him into a corner. Fields picks him apart with long shots with either hand. Sprott tries another wild overhead hook and misses. Now Sprott is getting banged across the ring and into the ropes. Sprott wobbled!!! Fields keeps slamming away to head and body, alternating hands nonstop. Sprott is in quite a lot of trouble but another sweeping hook catches Fields and rocks him back! Fields jabs him back into the same corner again and lobs both arms from a few feet out. Sprott comes wading in behind looping shots and collapses against the big man. Fields circles and pops his right jab. Sprott tries to slip jabs and lefts on the outside. Sprott is knocked into the ropes. Fields is still landing jabs. Sprott tries a big right hand superman punch but falls just shy. Fields is standing in close, slipping and jabbing. Wild left hook by Sprott misses.

20-18 Fields

 

Round 3

Sprott lands a solid right hand lunging forward but is wrestled to the ground as he collapses in again behind it. Sprott is slinging his arms out sidelong to the hips of Fields and getting jabbed. Fields tries to work in his straight left and instead has to club down as Sprott ducks and dives in. Fields backs up and lands a left uppercut. Sprott walks into a right jab and left uppercut combo. Fields is just stepping back at a casual strolling pace but still eluding Sprott. BIG right hand lands for Sprott again lunging forward and upward. Fields shakes the cobwebs quickly. Fields gets behind his jab. Sprott boomerangs himself back and forth. Hard charge by Sprott, throwing both fists with everything he has and pinning Fields on the ropes, getting a bit of leather to touch flesh. Fields is hurt but ties him up as Sprott carries him to another set of ropes.

It should be Fields' victory. Let's see if we get another PF robbery.
