    I'm so mad at Maurice for bottling it in the quarter-finals, because it would have been fascinating to see what he could do against a motivated & fired-up Johnson like we seem to have today...

    Nascimento throws a hard 1-2 from outside, then circles to the left. Hamer waves his gloves around, stirring up some energy, biding his time. BIG COUNTER LEFT HOOK by Hamer, scrapes the brow of Nascimento as the Brazilian is pulling straight back. Wild uppercut by Nascimento, almost countered flush by a 1-2 as they crash together into each other's arms. They trade jabs at mid-range. Nice cross by Hamer. Nascimento forces his left jab through, tickling Hamer with it as he pulls back. Big hooking exchange as Nascimento steps in, neither getting anything on the button before they clinch. Right hand by Hamer. Nascimento jabs hard down at the body while leaning his upper body back. Hard whipping right by Hamer up top, quickly pulling his guard back together. Jabs to the forehead by Hamer, and a HUGE right cross that carries him off balance while missing as Nascimento spins out of the way.
    Jabs to the face and right to the body by Hamer.

    Nascimento awful, Hamer far better skills. Although Hamer fights more like a flyweight.
