How about apologizing for the insult to our intelligence (and Nurse's own), with the implication that he can put Mutley to sleep?

 

Round 2

Mutley is trying to place a right to the body or a high jab to the face coming straight forward but Nurse is waiting with wide quick looping counters and quick foot movement all over the place. Lead right from off the ropes by Nurse, gaining a bit of ground. Mutley is just inching forward, trying to block or pull his head back to avoid the deterrent fire. Nice combo by Mutley marching in, catching Nurse on the jaw with a hook and a right. Mutley didn't steal it.

Richie Woodhall sees Nurse "dominating".

I'm not sure that's the right word. Clearly winning is more like it.

 

Round 3

Mutley is knocked off balance by a wide Nurse hook while coming forward. Mutley hops around trying to reset and find an angle to attack from. Right to the body by Mutley. Nurse eats a jab but lands one in counter. Mutley gets him up against the ropes and looks to slug to the body but Nurse slides down low and slithers free. Mutley throws some wild bombs. Nurse tries to trade with him while turning him. Bad idea. Mutley lands a couple flush. Nurse reaches in and pokes with a low body jab. NICE right hand by Mutley. Another one!! Body shots by Mutley!! He gets Nurse on the ropes and slugs away as Nurse covers up. Clinch, and Nurse slams down with some sloppy rights to the top of the head, a few rabbit punches as Mutley spins in his grip. Finally the ref gets them pried apart. Mutley walks Nurse down and taps out at the body. NICE RIGHT HAND BY MUTLEY!! Combo!! Nurse is on the ropes.

Watt says that Mutley looked out of the ring and made eye contact with him, shrugging in a conciliatory manner. Watt says Mutley knows he waited too long to get going.

Had he started the 2nd the way he behaved in the third, he'd be in the Finals.
