The first one (Heavyweights) was good for novelty reasons...
    Number 2 (Heavyweights) was awful...
Nunber 3 was the best (Welterweights) with a few shocks and a few decent fights.
Number 4 (Middleweights) was rubbish bar the final.
Number 5 (Light-Heavyweights) was good for the most part.

    Quite a mixed bag...

However, I'm bored with it now. It's on too often and Barry Hearn only does it because it can attract a different audience.

By the way, can anyone explain why in 35 fights we've not had 1 draw? It's like the judges have been told to split them regardless...

Plus, there isn't a problem if it were a draw because the referee has the choice of who won.

I do look forward to the prizefighter nights. I know most of the fights are not top quality but neither are most fights on an undercard. At least here we get to see decent boxers actually trying to win over the short distance instead of just going through the motions.

I definetly think that the show needs a few guys with good KO ratio's in to help spice it up a little.

The draw was today in Glasgow, I've copied Matchroom's blurb to save me the typing.

i understand why some people arent fans of this format but one thing i do enjoy about the prizefighter shows is they are great value if you are having a punt and the bookies have been stung a couple of times notably on oakey and rogan, the people who price these up appear to have less knowledge about the fighters than those who post on here , oakey with all his experience and his made for this format style was a massive 5/1 in my book he should have been no bigger than 3/1 i feel they look at the records and those with unbeaten records are given more focus thatn there record deserves im going to be studying hard tonight as although this show looks tricky im sure theres value to be had , i would be interested to read anyone elses tips

Ok not a bad draw for the fights but it seems every fight will go the distance and be fairly uninteresting with little drama. Why is Reid who can bang abit especially at lightweight a reserve when others included have no KO's or a genuine chance?

I would've rtaher have seen Reid in it too. I'd have thought he could have a decent chance at winning it.

These prize fighters are so hard to pick winners in you just never know, i thought Fry would def win the LH but dead wrong, Its a good bit of luck aswell. Would like to see Mcarthur win, he's a decent boxer who has had his fair share of bad luck.

Got to b Stephen Burke. He's a class act. Can't understand why he's never captured the imagination of the big promoters. He can punch and box.
