Very very disappointing. So a fringe world level fighter in Kevin Johnson in with a bunch of domestic bums and guys who've suffered some pretty poor defeats. Johnson should be odds-on to win this now.

It looked promising at first but yeah im dissapointed in this. Travis walker should have been in there, alex leapei-some better brits too!

Least the fighters in there could be exciting enough though i guess...

Yeah it's a lazy effort from Hearn, too many inexperienced domestic guys who will be way out of their depth here.

He should have tried to get relatively unknown top 75 guys without much to lose (the likes of Francesco Pianeta, Johann Duhaupas, Leif Larsen etc). The gulf in class between Johnson and Tom Little is just huge :-(

I predict Johnson v Harris final unless they get drawn against each other earlier, Tor Hamer is a decent outside bet.

Also annoyed that the 2 best guys in there are feather-fisted and boring to watch (Johnson and Harris). Prizefighter is supposed to be about fast-paced action yet they put experienced but dull fighters in with guys who have no experience at all.

Who was you expecting..? I think it's a good line up.

Seriously who was you expecting, Haye, Chisora, Price, Kiltschko...?

    Chill out.

Of course not, but Tom Little has had 3 fights, Meddoune has had 5....
Could have at least got some top 100 guys in, especially as they've got a fringe world level guy like Kevin Johnson in there, they need to provide decent competition.

They should keep guys like Nascimento in just for the excitement which is what this format is about. Its a spectacle its not about finding out whos the best HW boxer

Nascimento vs Dallas would be hilarious. Two uncoordinated bangers just going at it. :yep

I'd be more accepting of this if Johnson and Harris weren't in it. Not only are they a class above the other guys but they're dull to watch as well.

Fights not involving those two should be fun :bbb

Tom Little is the only one i'm really dissappointed with. Shouldn't potentially be in with someone like Johnson. Only seen him once but don't think he's that highly rated? (...but watch him win it now i've said that).

The others are ok to me. A couple of names in Sosnowski and Johnson. Banger in Nasciemento. Pretty highly thought of prospect in Meddoune. Needed a couple of Britts so Dallas and Little (Dallas is understandable - previously highly thought of, last chance salloon etc but can't really justify Little). A few Americans probably to try and garner interest from over there.

For me, take Little out and put in either another respectable name or an interesting prospect (Towers, Abdusalamov) and all of a sudden it would be much more interesting. 1 good fighter short in my opinion and so Johnson's to lose.

    Still, i'll be watching.

Some perverse part of me would still like to see James Toney in the Prizefighter format, but with the money on offer it's a non-starter. Still underwhelmed by the lineup. Harris is past his best but this format won't be bad for him, but Meddoune and Little should be nowhere near this. With the inclusion of Johnson I'd hoped for a couple of fighters with some name value - even Harrison or Sprott - but was hoping they'd have brought Perez back.
