only saying larry says hes favorit when hes not. Mibbe hes good but is he? Everybodies saying Nav but he starts too slow and Graham won the first 3 rounds against him, Mibbe Kris Carslaw will win but don't think hes as good as mewan. Heres what i think if craig beat Vera easy and Vera is 18th midleweight in the world now mcewan will win this if he fights well. How meny of the gyys here could beeeat Vera? thats what i think.

I'd like to string up whoever the pricks were who bet Larry at 5/1 on Betfair. Could have got double those odds if waited for the bookies to price up a guy with two fights.

After seeing comments over at the Scene, I feel sorry for Mcewan, with guys saying bull**** like "at least he knows he cant fight on the US level", and "at least now he knows he's not A level"... he's been mixing with very good opponents and has a very decent scalp in Brian Vera... I have no doubt he'll win British/Commonwealth/Euro honours if thats what he has his eyes on.

larrys odds will drift. no one will back him at 5/1. he is naturally a welter could prob make light welter at a push and there are genuine middelweights in this. he also doesnt have great power. so a talentede likeable guy but wont win prizefighter.

his style isnt really suited to it either.

Oh yes he got beat by mc quillian who fought and won the world title,no disgrace there IMO especially when he shouldn't have took the fight.
Craig is the class act in this tournament and needs to just go out and prove it imo

I think McEwan could walk this, unless he picks up an early cut. Always the downfall in Prizefighter.

Why you gotta be like that for? If thats his opinion, let him have it, like we let you have yours. You might train, but don't forget Bill, your a boxing fan at heart to, just like we are, and not everybody has the same opinion on fights and fighters.

If your privy to the information about Craig because he was in your gym, then fantastic, you got to see that first hand, you may be right, but you may be wrong also.

Because you haven't had the luxury of having all of the others inside your gym, some of the others could be on fire in their gyms and fancy their chances against Craig, or anybody else.

Just because you've seen Craig, it doesn't mean his going to win it, or not win it. :good

Do you recall any Hennessey fighter in prizefighter?

i agree Billy. craig has faught and sparred at a higher level than the other lot.
he's underrated over here because he faught in the u.s. so alot of boxing fans in the u.k. wont have seen much of him.
winning prizefighter will get his career back on track but its a shame he has to fight in prizefighter, he's much better than that imo. he couldnt get a meaningful fight over here probably because he's seen as high risk.

McEwan should coast this. His pro and amateur experience should see him through.

What are you Billy, A 5 year old? Craig is a domestic level operator IMO, the Boone and Perez fights showed that.

All TFFP gave was his opinion on Mcewan, as usual you react to any criticism of your fighters with zero class.
