116-111 Mayweather. Great performance by Cotto!

Floyd fought the wrong fight, but still easily got the win.

Don't understand how a lot of people have it so close....just re-watched it and can't see how anybody can score it closer then 8-4.

117-111. Mayweather looked great and landed clinical punches throughput. Cotto held his own but he's a level or 2 below Mayweather and Pac. If those 2 don't get it on I'd like to see Alvarez v Floyd next. Floyd got the speed but Alvarez could back him right up if he gets through.

Floyd isn't what he was, yet he still won against one of the other best P4P fighters in the sport.

I think the age old argument that Floyd's biggest weakness would be pressure seems unfounded. He deals with pressure very well, i think Floyd has struggled against "slick" fighters before, he had trouble dealing with Mosley/Judah to begin with, and they both caught him with clean right hands.

I know there's a fighter at 154 who has the speed and power to trouble Mayweather, and people will shout me down because it is NOT Martinez (They won't fight, Martinez is too big) It's Erislandy Lara. But that fight will NEVER be made, he hasn't got a belt and will be avoided like the plague.

  12. Floyd would make roadkill of Alvarez :yep

I know, but his stint in jail may slow him down. He'd picj Alvarez off at will buy if Alvarez steps it up and digs in he could hurt Mayweather, no doubt about it.

Lad that jail time will take nothing out of him he'll hardly do a month with all the gym time in the world while in there. He'll be in isolation, more of a rest for him than anything IMO :yep

I had it 116-112, Cotto fought the fight of his life but wasn't quite good enough. Floyd didn't do much wrong just had a competitive opponent for once.
