Carroll's goal wasn't over the line anyway, although I actually thought it was on first viewing. Obviously the linesman had no chance of knowing and it's too hard to give unless it's clear IMO. Great save by Cech as well :good

I thought you had an argument. Daylight is needed but yet offside its just an arm or leg that gets the call. If offside is that tight then so should the ball. They should be both tight or both daylight imo.

I thought the right team won, no offense but LFC were poor until Carroll came on, he had a wonder of a game. Your best player, hopefully it kick starts him, can only be good for club and country. Have you seen how poor we are upfront?

    120-109 Stieglitz

Interesting clash of styles between him and Abraham. Stieglitz has a high output of punches and Abraham relies on that big punch

Think Abraham will stop him in the middle rounds

For me from the angle that mainly showed it, if it was over you'd of seen the whole ball cos the line is the width of the post. We only saw half the ball so i don't think the whole ball passed the line. It's a great save by Cech he could easily knocked that up and in. Could of went Liverpool's way, it thankfully didn't!. We can count ourselves lucky cos the defending was pish!.

Of course i'm gonna deny it's a goal , Carroll was immense when he came on and changed the game. Spearing coming off helped, he was way out of depth in that arena it's a different game when it's a cup final. Prem games are far different occasions.

  8. I'm not sure about the Phillips comparison tbh.

At his best he was a better fighter than Corley could ever dream of being...... still nearly laid Ricky out in the 4th too :yep

It's probably Hatton's 3rd/4th best win, perhaps even 2nd best actually.

What would the win have got Paul? Nothing. Therefore it is a pointless fight because he stands to lose everything to win nothing. Terrible matchmaking.

Thing is Pad, as **** as Liverpool were the game was there to be won at 2-1. The goal unnerved Chelsea and they were defending 10 yards too deep. 2-2 and I reckon we'd have been favorites to go on and win.

No major complaints thou....hope you guys do it tomorrow!

Thats hindsight though mate. Corely is past it, fringe world class. McCloskey should have beat him in a "marking time" fight but just wasn't good enough.
