Also may I make a suggestion to the mods: There have been a lot of people getting banned recently for petty offences. I think it would be wise to consider permanent bans for anyone who posts in a way that is disrespectful to Brett or the other man who may have died, even if the poster thinks they're being funny. This is a potential murder case where two set of families have possibly lost husbands and fathers. Regardless of what people think the two of them have done to end up in this situation this is a sad time for those concerned. I've not come across anyone with a bad word to say about Brett and I think it's appropriate that it remains that way
RIP Brett, I wondered why he didn't fight regularly and maybe this is a reason. He was unlucky not to win prizefighter that time RIP
Taking the **** and stating the facts as and when they emerge are two different things...you should never restrain people from telling the truth.
That's a fair comment. All I would say is that if there are upsetting details let's not drag them up in the immediate aftermath of this. All I am saying is there should be respect and restraint, and anyone who thinks coming on here making jokes and being out of order is acceptable should be banned. What we must remember is Brett was a good boxer. Unlucky not to win prizefighter. By all accounts a good lad. That's how he needs to be remembered today. But I understand where you're coming from icemax
Yeah it was just on previous threads. Also it's happened in the past most notably on a tribute thread for Gary Mason. People seem to lose their heads and chat ****. Anyone got any further updates on the situation?
If your on Facebook there is a petition/rally to try and locate Brett setup by his family. More details are on there.
