I actually thought Ashley won going away both times. :conf

I'd have said "easily", but Robinson's style made it scummy toil. In terms of points, neither was anywhere close as some people made out IMO.

Of their sixteen rounds together, Mike won the 4th and 5th of their first meeting (argument in maybe the 2nd) but otherwise didn't put his stamp on many more with anything resembling clean effective boxing.

I dunno I had Sexton winning by maybe 1 or 2, IIRC I think in both he came on strong in the middle but they aren't that fresh in the mind. I liked both fights though.

They were support for Barker-Spada and Klitshcko-Haye, so they certainly outshone the main events!!:lol:

Broadhurst is skipping out to the ring and swinging his arms across each other in front of him, looking every bit the five year old with his 5'2" stature completing the job.

It is time for the FINAL MATCH. :ibutt

...so why is Broadhurst doing a jig and looking like he's off to ride the ferris wheel and get some cotton candy? :huh

    Round 1

Right jab from Haskins. Long clinch. Haskins ducks as Broadhurst slaps out with some high hooks. Haskins is warned for grabbing Broadhurst behind the head. Southpaw 1-2 from Haskins backs Broadhurst to the ropes. Haskins puts his right arm straight up vertically and drops the glove down beyond Broadhurst's gloves, just tickling him. More clinching, more warnings from Howard Foster for Haskins holding behind the head. Broadhurst ducks a 1-2 and comes flurrying back with left and right hooks that get Haskins in a lateral trot to the ropes and then bouncing off to hold again. Haskins keeps throwing the right jab whenever Broadhurst looks about ready to throw or feint. Right jabs to the face and left uppercuts to the body by Haskins as he runs around Broadhurst. Rabbit punch right hook from Haskins as Broadhurst bends over in front of him while being circled. Clinch and Broadhurst shoves his forearm up under Haskins' chin, driving him down to his knees (not a knockdown).

    10-9 Haskins

    Round 2

Fast right jabs and hooks by Haskins as he quickly floats inside and then rushes back out before Broadhurst can get going. Broadhurst charges in and makes partial contact with a right, which emboldens him to run STRAIGHT INTO A COUNTER LEFT!! DOWN!!! SHAKEN! UP!! BEATING THE COUNT! RUNS BACK INTO ANOTHER ONE!! (A right hand this time) DOWN AGAIN!! RIGHT HOOK, LEFT UPPERCUT FROM HASKINS!! SWARMING AND SLAPPING! Broadhurst gets him in a headlock. Haskins leaps forward off his toes, slapping until grabbed as Broadhurst stays hunkered low. Broadhurst is fought back across the ring, pushing out his left jab as Haskins whacks away at him coming forward and light on his feet as compared to the very wobbly Broadhurst. Solace is found for Broadhurst only leaning his butt against the middle rope or grabbing ahold of Haskins. A right jab to the face is tossed as a counter to Broadhurst's slow left jab upstairs. Broadhurst is still throwing, but getting easily dodged and countered.

    10-7 Haskins

    20-16 Haskins

    Round 3

Broadhurst is getting clipped with right hooks running in and trying to jab up at Haskins' distant face. Overhand rights see him countered even worse as Haskins easily flings out quick combos at him. Haskins is playfully dancing around Broadhurst, leaning all the way back to keep his head far off and using his long arms to knock Broadhurst's head around. Broadhurst waves his way in, missing and getting held and thrown back like a small-fry on a picky fisherman's hook.

    30-25 Haskins

Haskins says the format suited him fine and he could have done seven 3-rounders tonight. :yep
