Just saw a good thread on this on boxrec and decided to see what you thought about this.

There is a long queue for a shot at the British Title at Super flyweight so a Prizefighter tourney would be an ideal eliminator imo.

    P Edwards
    Bayaar
    Sexton
    Conlan
    Wilton
    Robinson
    Broadhurst
Delroy Spencer (This would be my wildcard pick, I think Delroy is decent and if given an opportunity could raise his game and maybe shock one or two of these guys)

    What do you think?:smoke

Nah not for me. Winning a 3 round fight for me doesn't warrant the chance to fight for British title. In saying that winners have gone onto win titles in next bouts etc but for me this line up is basically near on the whole division domestically. I'm all for dreams being made and clearing things up quick time but i think a crash bang wallop evening of boxing shouldn't be the way to title shot.

I wouldn't mind a tournament type elimination over space of 3-5 months. With the winner fighting for British Title.

You would need Usman Ahmed, if only for the ring walk

I think it'd be a decent eliminator tourney for the British title, why not?

Better than something that takes forever, with the champ fighting a couple of stiffs in ten rounders on an undercard somewhere.

There's no obvious #1 contender in there, so why not?

Stops using a SFN date for what's likely to be a snoozer or a **** bill and gives us a real good night with a double prize for the winner.

Obviously in most divisions it's not really gonna happen as there's more depth, but here I can really see it working.

Anything, so long as I don't have to watch a sweaty Mark Krence unable to get Zahid Kahut out of there ffs

There is Haskins, Chris Edwards, Najab Ali. And I am not sure if Ross Birkinshaw is still superfly?

I agree with Beeston as well, better to have all this sorted out in one night, that tie up dates with too many superfly headliners or tune ups.

He is too small and gives too much weight against his opponents to get fights....

Some good names and if they come to fight it'll give the Super Flys some good exposure. The winner would be up there for a British title shot.

Yeah looks like PF's seen this thread . Haskins in PF suppose least we only gotta see 3 rounds of him mauling with his opponent then a break to wake us up.
