Would this work? Imagine we got some legends involved in this series. We could have Naz, Bruno, Eubank, Benn etc either facing up and comers, or competing with each other. Could this work? Im thinking this may happen in the same way sky done the gladiator legends series. I don't think it would work. Can anyone else see a way this could work? Maybe bring a few big names from abroad in and raise money for charity?
There is a difference between gladiators and boxers! They should get some of the old favourites out to do promotions for fights or have them introduced in the ring, but these men are long since finished
if this a serious post and i hope its not the answer is a huge no why risk retired/ legends health its a stupid and uneccesary risk
I wouldn't wish a comeback on any of those mentioned- they've earned their retirement. Anyway, what weight would Naz fight at now? Ingle was right about him going up to 168 after all!:rofl
Frank Warren is light years ahead of his time. The world is only now waking up to his methods. He's been using this formula (in reverse) for a long time now. In 2027, Warren will be looked back on as the turn of the century's James Dyson.
I would not enjoy this but sky have done it with a lot of other sports and i fear they may do the same with boxing. To the people saying **** off, i dont want to see this happen but with the way sky do things and the way boxing coverage in the UK is going i would not be surprised to see this happen.
How about pundits? No tournament just straight up fights. Steve Bunce-Max Kellerman Andy Kerr-Paul Dempsey Glenn McCrory-Johnny Nelson and our main event of the evening, a 6 way royal rumble with the female sky sports news team. That would get my £14.
Buncey sparks Kellerman early doors..:bbb Kerr v Dempsey....I think that Kerr can beat Dempsey late on after a few ear warmers and buckets of water over him from Buncey... I think that Johnny Nelson pick pockets this contest against McCrory....:yep I am liking the 6 way Royal Rumble...:happy Can we have Jim Rosential v Ian Darke...:scaredas:
