Think there are some great match ups in the opening fights and some value in the odds for Larry Ekundayo and Mansouri - who I fancy to win their opening fights.

Who do you think wins in the first round of fights and who do you fancy to win this overall?

    Craig McEwan 4/9 v Larry Ekundayo 13/8
    Kris Carslaw 1/3 v Ryan Toms 9/4
    Peter Vaughan 5/6 v Terry Carruthers 5/6
    Curtis Valentine 4/9 v Navin Mansouri 13/8

McEwan should win this, but won't be surprised to see Ekundayo win even with his lack of experience.

Top half of the draw seems much tougher than the bottom half, Mansouri and/or Valentine might be value, you'd have thought the winner of that one would make the final at least.

    This Ekundayo intrigues me.

Most fighters that are 2-0 and beaten two awful journeymen wouldn't be allowed to compete against a McEwan level fighter.

Something's telling me to whack a few quid on him tonight.

Ekundayo could be a hype job, mansouri could be good value to beat valentine, they seem to be pricing valentine as the favourite in that just because he ko'd Aston, carslaw would be a good each way bet

I think McEwan will win it but you can never tell. Some fighters shine in this sort of thing when you would not expect them to and the ones you expect to do well dont.

gonna have a punt on McEwan and a smaller bet on someone from the bottom half of the draw.

From what these lads have achieved so far in there careers Craig is levels above, certainly if any boxed him over 12 rounds he beat them all with ease, the 3 rounds closes the class gap IMO,but I just can't see past craig the cream should come to the top.

Agree Billy he should win but like you say the format narrows the gap so I just hope he gets a break and comes through. How was he making weight, looked good and happy which is positive.

Noticed hardly any of these guys have power so might not be too exciting.

Betting on this is a lottery
