Yeah, I love it. Breaks up the week between the usual boxing periods (Friday and Saturday nights). Simpson-Lindsay being on a Wednesday was a treat, especially since the boxing calendar had begun to thin out by then, as usual close to the Christmas holiday.

My tune on this will likely change once I rejoin the workforce, though. :yep (these SKY cards that are 8-10pm for you Brits run right through my afternoon )

it would also appear that Simpson-Smith is going to be the Wednesday night as well.

I've been meaning to ask for a while, are you an ex-pat?

I think IB just has an unhealthy obsession for boxing TBH. That's been my take.

    Nothing wrong with it mind.

Yeah IB doesn't come across like an ex pat to me just someone who will watch boxing any time. Which is a bit rich coming from someone who has downloaded tons of stream programs to watch some incredibly pointless fights.

Anyone else fancying the Reid upset? Heard he didn't look great the other week. Not seen any of Webb though. **** odds for Webb as well.

Steve Collins on Ringside made a good case for the format not suiting Reid.

Nope. Never even been to the mother country, actually. I am a dual citizen of both the UK and US, though (my dad was born in Liverpool and emigrated here as a schoolboy; it was explained to me that there's some loophole law - since changed - where direct paternal citizenship is passed on, and the cutoff for grandfathering it in came just after my birth :bananamaniac). If things ever go truly tits up here, there's always the opportunity to come live and work among you lot.

As for my presence here, well...in my experience UK domestic boxing has provided some top thrills, to rival any found on the world or American domestic scene. It's a bit strange that more people don't go out of their way to keep up on it, tbh. Sky puts out good product about as reliably as ESPN or HBO, to be blunt.

    Fair dos. :yep

I can be the opposite sometimes, skip the Sky card and watch a ESPN2 bill and 4in the morning....
