Bit of form on Yafai's Mexican opponent - only stopped once and that was against Martin Casillas who beat Juan Jose Montes last time out. So on paper a decent opponent.

    Round 1

Yafai is turning in a jab and taking short hops inside, his left side facing Garcia. A few uppercuts by Garcia leaning in to meet Yafai. Swooping uppers to the body by Yafai. They trade jabs as Yafai darts back and scuffs his feet across the Betfair logo. SHARP jab by Yafai, abruptly catching Garcia between the eyes and shocking him. Clinch. Garcia lobs out a 1-2 while stepping back and scores, but lightly. Another sharp jab by Yafai. Overhand right lead by Yafai, putting in a jab as Garcia tries to flurry. Stiff jab by Yafai. Garcia steps back and raises his jab, missing as Yafai holds backs and decelerates. Yafai dances in and out, around Garcia's jabs. Clinch. Garcia taps the body lightly.

    10-9 Yafai

    Round 2

Yafai is jabbing and letting the right hand fall in regularly as Garcia backs up and pokes the left out of his guard. Yafai reaches in with some body shots and slaps some hooks to the base of the neck. Double hook to the chest as Garcia tiptoes around him with his legs unbent and arms roaming as obstacles. Yafai is engaging in target practice with the jab.

    10-9 Yafai

    20-18 Yafai

You would have to be blind not to see all Mark was using was his jab, even Jim Watt noticed that, so NO it's not bollocks my friend

    Round 3

Yafai is circling around and jabbing, dropping in Singapore cane rights but always getting at least partly blocked by the educated hands of Garcia. Light flurries by Garcia coming back at Yafai, not so much slowing him down or bothering him as making his work more difficult. Garcia is able to roll punches and keep Yafai resetting his feet. Overhands by Garcia, slow and missing as Yafai ducks and repositions. Garcia is clearly losing but making Yafai look poor. Flurry by Yafai, Garca first leans back and then slingshots in to hold.

    10-9 Yafai

    30-27 Yafai

You misunderstood, sorry. I wasn't meaning that to call bull****.

It was more "Ah, balls!", as in expressing being sorry about his luck.

This is what happens when Yanks try their hand at Brit slang. :yep

I thought myself at the time he was favoring the right and may have injured it. :good

    Round 4

Yafai is sinking in left hands to the body and chopping up top with the right. Garcia is holding frequently. Yafai is throwing combos, slapping out a hook and then putting in a solid right to the face. Garcia is beginning to recoil from the shots, and block less of them. Yafai catches Garcia ducking in, headlock. Garcia is spun into a corner and Yafai flurries. Big left rip downstairs by Yafai. Garcia backs up hurriedly. Clinch. Yafai leads with a right and pumps both arms out straight, Garcia putting his arms in the way to tangle up and holding his chin out of reach in the corner.

    10-9 Yafai

    40-36 Yafai

Kal is honest. "It was an average performance. I got a bit sloppy at times..."

    Decent lad.
