I know this must have been posted on the British forum at some point...but did anyone watch Prizefighter tonight? If anyone is unfamiliar with the format. The competition consists of 8 boxers...quarter finals are chosen, the bouts consist of 3-3 minute rounds...and is a knockout competition, with the winner progressing to the semi finals...and ultimately the final (all on the same night). Tonight was the turn of the Super Bantemweights, and it was a very entertaining night of boxing. Almost all of the bouts were action packed...including knockdowns, cuts, fouls, etc. If you havn't seen or heard of this...I suggest you check it out. The majority of the time you don't see the most skilled bouts, but thats the most exciting thing about the format...it creates exciting viewing for casual and hardcore boxing fans. :good
Tough man, as in the hardest race in the world? I wouldn't compare it to that...but in my opinion, it takes more out of you than a normal 12 rounder. Especially when you take into account the fast pace of the 3 rounders, and limited time to recover.
