The problem is Fight Night is the career mode has been so subpar. I want a game where I can train myself and earn a spot in the rankings and eventually become a contender, and the game itself needs to present new challenges, negotiations for big fights (you take more money for fighting in your opponent's country, etc.), and all that. In other words, like all the other EA sports games.
I'm moderately excited. 2K says they will try to make a deeper more realistic career mode then EA, with an emphasis on story. I have to see the final result before I pass judgment, I know 2K will be waiting for my opinion.
if you gelled FNR3's graphics with FNR2's gameplay and FN04's career mode, you would probably have the best boxing game ever. I've always loved the 1st victorious boxers game, ****in quality!
Fight Night games sucks big Time. You cant ko an opponent unless their life bar runs out. So Im glad Y2K is entering the boxing game. I think the best ea boxing game is the original Knock Out Kings of the PS1. And the best boxing game nowadays is Victorious Boxer 2 (A japanese anime based game).
:good great call great game the physiques are so well produced you cna knock a man down at anytime you cant throw 200 punches a round like in fight night. you have more distinct different styles. a great career mode just too little contents after you win matches it's kinda just it. no CAB, no special trunks (maybe new special boxers but to be honest they are just reconfigurations on another charecter) number 2 was great as well the graphics were a bit better.
