In all honesty though, who wouldn't want to see Floyd undertake Olympic style drug testing rather than him dictating what OSDT is. :think

    Be interesting to see.

I had initial apprehensions over it, purely on the basis of how it usually contributes to creating stars from amateurs moving into the pros. But when reassessing it, it might actually work even better at making existing pros stars right away - because it naturally removes that 20 fight filler period most fighters end up having.

All the Russians are still banned and may only be able to box if they are not representing Russia.

The more important question is, how will the absence of Russian boxers impact the RIO Olympics, more medals for Cuba, The US, UK, Japan, or China? :smoke

The amateurs have been scored the same way as the pros for years. The pros will still get their asses kicked, because they face poor competition every few months and they pace themselves for 12 rounds. I don't have a problem with someone like Floyd fighting at the Olympics, it would be an embarrassing experience for him taking an L against an unknown kid from Uzbekistan.

The US Golden Gloves, AAU, & Military Programs may be severely hurt if these fighters have to fight top grade pros at the Olympics.

Should be an interesting Olympics minus any Russians, including boxers.

The US, not having to worry about being cheated, should really clean up on Gold medals.
